billmac99 I have been having similar problems and in general you may still be denied access to the file if you double click it to open with the default program or I have tried a number of ways for it, and also I have used “Long Path Tool” software in this situation and it helped me easily and quickly. When I tried to copy the disk into a desktop folder, it only copied a small fraction of what was on the disk (about 80 Gb on disk, only 13 Gb This goes for almost any file type, jPG's, Word Docs, PDF's etc. The main suspect was the antivirus and i've disabled it.
