I've even installed System mechanic professional which found the unused license key and other com entries.

I've installed outlook messenger with "one of those" serialz and when I removed the software and installed it again, the same registration / license details where still there. With a smile and a glow, I reinstalled the software only to find that the former license details are still showing up after install.
